SLIPKID'S Concert Photo Archives - Sonny Landreth

Sonny Landreth is a very distinctive sounding cajun rock style slide guitar player who've I seen a couple of times. Never heard/seen anything quite like him. And he has some great catchy songs to go with his awesome chops. The last time I saw him (2002), he had added a newfangled computer controlled servo driven tuning monster guitar to his on stage axes, Les Paul style, which allowed him to change his tunings at the press of the button - made by a company called "Transperformance"! Amazing! What will they think of next?

To check out the computer tuned geetar go to http://www.transperformance.com

Just position your cursor over the image "post-it" for some information about it (only some shots have extra info). Then click to see a bigger version !

Sonny Landreth - guitar, vocals
David Ranson - bass
Brian Breaknack - drums (not sure of his exact name!)

Unfortunately I only used a portable point & shoot camera rather than my SLR, and the shots that I did not use a flash for did not come out well at all (especially since the photo lab did not print them correctly). A shame, since I was right in the front row & had some excellent photographic moments to capture.
