This tour marked the American debut of the new Wishbone lineup, which had already played together for about a year in Europe. The US tour coincided with the first USA fanclub convention, held in Chicago, IL at a small to mid-sized bar called the Beaumont, on May 1st. The tour highlight for me was the gig at the House of Blues in Chicago on Friday April 30th, one night prior to the Beaumont convention and show. The House of Blues gig was one of the best for crowd energy and fan excitement!! A very enthusiastic crowd inspired the band to pull off a great show. The opening band for the tour was our buddy Ben Granfelt and his band, all the way from Finland, and they won over many new fans with their firey rock style and instrumental prowess.
