This was the 1st gig of this tour, and a return Ash visit to Sellersville after about a year. The previous gig here was the first time I saw Ash with Muddy and that was only his 4th gig with the band. Since then he's put in alot of miles and gigs being Andy's guitar foil, and he's grown nicely into that role as well as being a fully integrated band member. I saw him earlier in the year at the US "ASHFEST" in Scranton and was very impressed with those gigs so I knew what to expect. Folks that hadn't seen him since the previous year were in for a big treat, and he didn't disappoint. This was a smoking show!
After forgetting to bring the zoom lens for my camera the previous year and regretting it, this year I made a point to bring it, and settled into my seat at showtime only to realize I left my film up at the merch counter!! I quickly hightailed it up there to load up and made it back to my seat just in the nick of time. Whew.
The year before my seat was on Bob's side but this year I was on Muddy's side, so you'll see alot of shots of him. Last year it was a bass playing extraordinaire Bob show for me being on the other side of the theater, but this year it was a Muddy show (with Andy of course being in the spotlight dead center).
